Came to Birmingham for a business trip, and the wraps and sandwiches at Urban Cookhouse blew my mind. Even the sides (broccoli salad) were yummy. I will definitely come back!

We visited from Texas and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and food at Urban Cookhouse. I’d be curious to try other sandwiches, but would definitely pair it with more broccoli salad.

Total random pic while we were walking around downtown Baltimore. Ended up being a great selection. Grab a menu find your selection and order at the register. They have plenty of items to choose from and many selections are vegetarian/vegan. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was just absolutely fantastic. Also, the side of macaroni and cheese was some of the best I've ever had . Services really quick here and the staff are definitely friendly. The place gets crowded but despite being a high volume restaurant people move in and out quickly and Services fast.

Wow! So glad I came across this location while visiting Birmingham. I actually went for lunch two days in a row. Both days, I got the pick 2 option and chose 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. The Local Mix salad was great and the sandwiches were too. I also got the strawberry lemonade and the cookie brownie. Staff is friendly, fresh ingredients, and clean space. I'll definitely return whenever I'm in the area.

I used a delivery app to order. I chose the Balt with red pepper soup and their orange rolls! Everything was absolutely perfect and full of flavor! These are three must-try foods, tasty and savory!

In humid and hot Birmingham, this store’s AC is very welcoming!! There is plenty of seating, perfect for big groups! They also have really nice bathrooms and it’s connected to a bank so it has a vault theme bathroom and it was pretty creative! Their lemonade was refreshing! The fruit salad is refreshing and they give a good amount of fruit! The chicken sandwich was good too, I really liked the bread!

First time for this location. The staff were friendly and answered questions I had about the menu. I chose the Buffalo chicken wrap with the side salad. The wrap was good and flavorful. The side salad could have been a meal in itself. Overall a good choice for lunch. I recommend it to anyone.

I regularly order from the downtown Birmingham location. The food is excellent and you can always depend on their efficiency and timing with take-out preparation. Dining in or taking out the place is always well-staffed and well managed. The food is consistent and delicious. The Cubano sandwich is easily the best in town.

I was sleep on this gem! I decided to try this place one day on lunch, and let me just say, I am hooked! From the wooden shrimp kabobs with zucchini, to the salad, and the orange roll! My meal was perfect! The favors were everything! You have to have more than one orange roll! The dressing for the salad was delicious! The shrimp kabobs comes over a bead of pilaf rice. 10/10 I would recommend! It was worth every penny spent!
